Born in 1989 in Kanagawa, Japan.

After learning about animation and theater in high school, Keina attended the Faculty of Environment and Information Studies at Keio University, where she studied interactive design with a focus on "a substantial display," in which the digital data gets displayed with physical materials. Additionally, she formed a group with her fellow students called "Otome Dengei-bu," which encouraged the DIY through workshops and other events. She continued her research at the university after earning a degree.

Keina joined the team of YCAM in April 2013 and has been responsible as an engineer for video and other devices that are used in the works presented at the Center and continues to conduct technical research. With an inventive and careful manner, she focuses on assisting in producing the artworks, without making them a mere demonstration of technology or technique, that strongly reflect the concepts and artist's vision and offer a new perspective to the viewers.
